7. The panhandle area sure gets a lot of them.
Seems like Pensacola, Apalachicola suck all those hurricanes in.

5. Oviedo is a nice town.
We had a tornado warning just east of where I live. I am in SW Orlando area.

Looks like it will clear out by 3 now. Quick storm.

12. Winter Park is nice, traffic can be bad.
Oviedo is a little nicer, but I expect urban sprawl will catch up to all these towns sooner or later.

I like the mall in Oviedo.

16. Yes it is nice to run over to Oviedo Marketplace.
Everything you need without having to go to the larger malls and fighting the traffic along the way.

17. I have shopped there with my sister for Christmas a couple of years.
December 20th seemed like a Tuesday in October there. It was nice not having to weave around crowds of people.

9. My daughter lives in Hollywood in Broward County.
I haven't spoken to her yet this morning, but it looks like her area is going to get some of the storm.

I hope she is doing ok.

10. I'm starting to get smacked pretty hard now.
I live on the east coast, but directly in the path of the storm. Was surprised to see I had power when I woke around 7:30am, but I suspect it won't last much past the next two hours.

My house is very thoroughly boarded, and we are well-supplied. It's just a matter of keeping calm and waiting it out now. :)
