No matter how bad it gets, there is always someone out there who loves you
As I sit down to write a paper on a subject I pretty clueless about (philosophy) and prepare to give a presentation on HCV, I realize I'm stressed, cold, hungry, but loved.
And it's odd, because in the past, I'd lie down and accept defeat. But now, I want to fight more against that.
Life sucks ass sometimes, but this thought I had...oddly comforted me.

1. My dear WindRavenX.......
How right you are!

When someone loves you, that love proves you're worthy .........

And THAT worthiness fuels your self-esteem......which keeps you going!

Love certainly comforts us...at its best...

Keep that good thought....and keep on loving.......

Love can take you places you never knew existed, both inside you and outside....

It can reveal worlds that you had no idea existed......

Love makes the world go round, as the saying has it...and it is true!

:loveya:

7. I am a rock, I am an island.
Love hurts. The only love I can handle anymore is the outbound love. The love one gives to someone in distress, the love one gives to the hurt people.

6. I wish that were true
But I live in Detroit. Sometimes when I am feeling low I go out and drive around to remind myself. I see the people with no love. No place. No anything. To love and be loved. To belong. Never take it for granted. It is a special thing.

Go read Our Town. Never miss a chance to let someone you love know that they to are loved.

8. I guarentee you this:
most of those people you describe have someone that loves them, but they don't, for whatever reason, recognize this.

I went through that. It hurt me very dearly to realize this...

11. Oh I understand
But it doesn't change that there and then they are as lost as anyone can be. And unfortunately in many cases their plight truly is because they have lost those that did love them.

And its not just those who are down and out. There are cracks at all levels in our society. People who for whatever reason cannot form relationships. They become increasingly isolated as time erodes what little they have. You sometimes see them driving along side you on the highway. Going through the motions of life.

As I said. Do not take love for granted. It is as Oxygen. Go find someone you love and hug them right now. Let them know they are loved.

13. Sometimes I think I am the only one around me who believes in " love " ...
It seems that everyone I come into contact with believes in " use " and " use " - But I still have the hope that I will run into another ( preferably a guy ) who believes in love too ... until then I will keep hope alive .
