So someone just stole my laundry... |
|
Well it was actually a few hours ago. I had my clothes in the dryer in the laundry room at my apartment complex, came back to get them and they were gone. Basically all of my work clothes, plus some of my favorite t-shirts.
Honestly, I can't understand why people would do such a thing. I mean, normally you can't even give used clothes away. But apparently people are willing to take them.
It's probably going to cost a couple hundred dollars to replace everything. And its not even the money that pisses me off. Its the fact that people can just be so heartless and stupid.
*sigh* :-(

I left my stuff in the laundry a lot when I lived in an apartment building - it's one of those things you just don't think will happen.

I've been doing it since I was in college. And its never been a problem. Like I said, people don't usually want used clothes.

But I doubt I will. Unless the person lives here and is stupid enough to wear them around.

Although do check back -- one time I put my drying in on top of someone else's drying and found I had several extra pieces of clothing. Wups! It went back to the laundry room -- wasn't anything else I could do.

Maybe someone grabbed them by accident, and will put them back. One can only hope.:-(

needed it? Check with whomever is in charge. At a laundromat where I used to go the person who ran it would empty the driers on busy days.

14. People will take anything. |
|
And I mean anything. People moving in here in SF often their furniture missing on the street if left unattended. Familiar screams on the street. Post a notice in the laundry room and shame the bastard into giving your clothes back.
