Hat's off to the White Sox
I'm a long time Cubs fan. Live on the Northside, bleed Cubby blue and all that stuff. But the Sox are the real deal, and all the Texas types better prepare to get swept.

I won't wear any Sox gear, but changing my DU avatar is OK. At least until the Series is over.

1. I should do that, too.
I am a die-hard Cubs fan. My husband is a Sox fan. I am cheering for the Sox, but I will keep my Cubs shirts and hats, especially the one autographed by Ron Santo.

Sox all the way! Houston? An expansion team with no history!

4. Hey at least you only have to deal with it this year
Us Yankee fans have to deal with the lame-ass bandwagon jumpers every season when the "in" thing to do is hate the Yankees and not even give a good reason why and worse yet half the morons that feel the need to diss aren't even baseball fans.

I secretly await the day when the Cubbies win a world series though. Believe it or not I remember the heyday of Grace, Dawson, Sandberg, Salazar, Dykstra and more. I used to watch the Cubs second only to my beloved Yanks.

7. I don't think it will ever happen! But thanks for the good wishes.
My sister is rooting for the Sox because she has decided that the Sox have to win before the Cubs do.

Her theory is the Red Sox won last year, the White Sox will win this year and the Cubs will be next! LOL

I don't see it that way, I believe that if the Cubs ever go to the WS or look like they are going to win ... well, the heck with Revelations and the Rapture Right ... if the Cubbies look like their going to win it all ... it will be the end of the World and existence as we know it! LOL

3. To Texas thanks for giving us a good game
You guys gave us a tough time tonight and a real nail bitter in the ninth.

5. No prob, we just wanted to spot you a couple so you wouldn't feel bad
Yeah right, you kicked our butts! Great game, though. Where'd this Crede guy come from? We'd be up 2-0 without him stopping everything within a six mile radius of third base!

6. Great game tonight
Personally I'm rooting for the Astros, and that nail biting end was just great wasn't it?

During the playoffs, while I wanted the Astros to win, I have to admit that I was really pleased during their last home game (against the Cards), with Babs and GHW standing up behind home plate, waiting for that last pitch, that last strike, that last out... that didn't come .... my only consolation was that they were denied that enjoyment! hehehehe

Can't wait to see the Astros at home again, just to watch the Bushies suffer

oh I'm so bad...
