8. my dog would chew that up in 5.2 seconds
whether it was tied on or not.

I don't think it's that stupid. People just love their dogs so much ... it makes me happy that there is that much love in the world, misguided as it can sometimes be.

10. As Long As The Dog Cooperates... What's The Harm?
I think they're kind of silly myself, but I don't understand the visceral reactions that many others have.

11. I tried a MinnieMouse costume on my 90# dog, cats were freaked out
The poor dog went to comfort the cats who puffed and hissed and ran because "something is attacking the dog" (minnie's hair bow) so the dog went to chase away whatever it was that was scaring the cats and the cats freaked out and hissed and puffed and ran so the dog ran over even faster to chase away whatever was scaring the cat...I finally managed to grab the dog and rip the stupid 10 inch hairbow off his head and the cats settled right down. Now, the polka-dotted miniskirt, that is another story.

12. My dog would wear a costume.
She has quite a collection of t-shirts, and if I pull one out, she jumps around like crazy until I put it on her.

And by the way, I don't put a shirt on her in hot weather -- I may be a bit nutso, but I'm not cruel!

13. Some doggies really like getting dressed up... wearing a new collar, or a
scarf, they truly enjoy it.

And I completely advocate keeping our pets warm as well, with nice coats and sweaters... I know our little dog joe LOVED his sweaters... he'd pull his sweater out of his toy basket and bring it to us.

Winky, my maltese loves her pink blankie coat, it's furry.

Blue, another dog I had for a while would get jealous of Winky's hair ribbons and pull them out of her hair, so the next time she went in for grooming, I had them put some red ribbons in her ears, and SHE LOVED them.. she kept holding her head up high and like fluffing her ears out, and she never bothered Winky's hair ribbons again. She honestly walked with a lilt in her step for days, it was so cute!

If the animal likes the outfit, and doesn't try to chew it up, why the heck not? It's all in good fun and they're our family, after all.

Oh and we have an Elf hat for the holidays... It even has 'ears' on it, and it way cute... Lola the pomeranian HATES wearing anything, so, it's up to Winky!

15. My dog would kill me in my sleep.
And then eat me, and shit me out on the mattress.

I would not cross him in such a manner.
