Reggie "The Crusher" Lisowski dead at 79 |
|
http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/5685457.htmlI grew up watching this guy on AWA Wrestling. Charisma to spare and one of wrestling's great brawlers and even better talkers. RIP Crusher.

2. Ah, the Crusher. Used to run from Sheboygan to Milwaukee |
|
with a keg of beer on his back.
Or maybe it was Racine to Kenosha, something like that.
Always one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid!

3. Aw, damn-- I used to LOVE the AWA |
|
So long, Crusher, and thanks for the great memories.
I used to love All-Star Wrestling-- back when wrestling it was less soap opera and glitzy pretty boys and more fat sweaty guys and commentators with bad hair and polyester sportsjackets.
There's a new play that just opened about Baron "The Claw" von Raschke. There was a write-up in the Strib about it last week.
