3. Is it like a Belgian wax?
Regular wax, but it hurts so much you treat yourself to a waffle afterward?

4. Last weekend, I...
1. Got my LSAT results
2. Drove home from the airport at 2 am, and had to get gas right after I left the parking garage
3. Accompanied someone on a "maybe if we drive around she'll fall asleep already" drive at 10:30 pm (which was both my first time accompanying anyone on such a drive, and my first time in that car)

10. I did, thanks!
I'm going to aim for three more new things next weekend -- sounds like a good idea. Although, perhaps, I'll have something more interesting than driving home from the airport at 2 am...

13. Extremely, thanks.
I exceeded my goal by 5 points, and my expectation by 10.

My plan is to stay local (Marquette). I will have no trouble getting in (a whopping 7 applicants -- all admitted -- last year had a better LSAT/GPA combo than I do, according to that LSAC data sheet) unless one of my rec's sabotages me (which I very much doubt). I think I can get some real $$$ now.

I'll probably be applying to a few other schools in the Midwest, for leverage more than anything.

(I'm not aiming for A Big Scary Prestigious Law Firm On A Coast, and I don't really want to be a tiny nontrad in an enormous pool of hypercompetitive 23-year-olds, so I'm fine with a solid, not-top-tier school that has an excellent state/local reputation but not much national recognition.)

24. I've looked there once or twice.
A lot more civil and less obnoxious than a few of those other boards -- "I GOT A 168 MY LIFE IS OVER!"/"HAHAHA U GOT PWNED! YOU SHOULDA CANCELLED! HAVE FUN AT (insert very good school that isn't Yale here)!!!!1!"

Good luck to you, too!

7. Let's see what this weekend will bring...
1. We're going to a friend's house for Iftar and dinner, and I've never been to her house.

2. I will celebrate the end of Daylight Savings Time in Texas for the first time ever.

3. I will either spend my last weekend as a nonattorney or my last happy weekend for a few months.

12. I've never committed suicide before!
Seriously....Actually this weekend I'll be doing something I've done thousands of times before: work far too many hours of backbreaking work at a low-wage job, then whining about it when I get home.

Wish me luck!

18. How about not smoking approximately 60 cigarettes?
Well, I hadn't done that in a very long time, anyway. Sigh. I'm ready to gnaw off my arm. I've probably not smoked about 75 by now.

30. Good luck Lara.
My dad smoked for well over 30 years. He finally quit. It drove him batty for a while, but he looks a lot younger and feels better. It's been a few years for him now.

It's worth it in the end.

19. did either number 1 or number 3...
have anything to do with number 2? (the number 2 on your list, that is)...there are a few places around here where eating a burrito DEFINITELY has to do with number 2(NOT the number 2 on your list).

THIS weekend I was in Hawaii for the first time (I'm still here) I let my self get tourist suckered at the Dole plantation with their stupid "fresh water pearls" (the pearl was 7 bucks, the setting was 45--my daughter is appalled at me)Shit, in Hawaii, there's been lots of firsts. I'm coming BACK I can tell you that...
