Does anyone else here hate sirloin? |
|
Gawd. It just flat out STINKS to me. I can't eat it.
:puke:
I'm fine with just about any other cut of beef.

I used to be a vegetarian.
But, these days, it is hard for me to turn down a tenderloin filet, or a hot chicken dinner.

10. Why do you people like your meat still mooing? |
|
A nice peice of meat cooked until its pink and juicy in the center. Now thats where its at. I can't stand the taste and texture of an under-cooked piece of beef.

12. I have never liked steak |
|
or ham, or porkchops, or spam. Things I used to have to eat as a kid, but have not had now for about 25 years. I did not care for chicken all that much either when I was having it three times a week or so, but now that I have it maybe twice a month, it's pretty good. I always loved McDonald's hamburgers, beef or sausage pizza, and raviolos. I do not have those very much these days either.

17. Actually, that's my favorite cut... |
|
While I'm not a huge beef lover, a thick filet of sirloin is one of my favorite occassional indulgences. When I was pregnant with my son, I couldn't get enough of ground sirloin steaks (with A-1 sauce, since salty was my craving then). Overall, sirloin just seems more flavorful to me, but then I also tend to prefer very lean cuts of any meat. Any fatty areas or "gristle" make me gag.
Actually, I'm not fond of T-bone steaks, which seems to be a very popular cut. Those are tough and "stringy" to me. Go figure...
Eh, to each his own. I'm a bit of a picky eater, so I can sympathize with having an unusual aversion to certain foods for reasons unintelligible to others.
