am I'm glad the sun is out for you. I thought southern California was always warm and sunny; at least that's the impression the Beach Boys gave me, lol.

We have had loads of sunshine here, but the last two days have been cold. It was 34 this morning! And, it is still October.

When I lived in Germany it always seemed to be overcast this time of the year. I experienced an eight week stint of constant overcast complicated by an 8:00 - 8:30 sunrise and a 4:30 sunset. This was when I discovered that I have SAD.

I don't mind the cold...it makes me feel alive!

But gloom is something else again......

I'd probably have SAD if I lived in a town where the sun wasn't out much.....

30. Oh yes

I have all the sun I need. SC is a very sunny state.

For the past three years my school had me teaching in a renovated closet which had no widows. By the end of the day I was either a zombie or mean as hell. Now, I have a new room (actually it is a mobile unit (i.e. a trailer)) with two windows and doors. I have all the light and fresh air I require. Now I am as docile as a puppy.

I used to jokingly call my grandmother "the little old lady from Pasadena" because she always drove fast - very fast.
