This is a semi-manly thread for men who cook. Grrrrr. Hello semi-men!
bonuses will be handed out if you own a kitchen aid mixer and/or commute (on non-hurricane days) via scooter.

substitutes will be given if you watch the Food Network, HGTV and aren't afraid to seriously consider the 'right' window treatments.

:D

GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR.

1. Fine. I confess.
I watch HGTV with my girlfriend, and will probably watch Gilmore Girls with hear tonight instead of the first hour of the World Series.

How sad is that?

And my team is even in it!!!!

14. I hear that's called an "ubersexual."
"Übersexual is a neologism for a conception of manhood. It is similar to a metrosexual in that the male is "refined", but contains more of an implication of confidence and traditional notions of manhood than the former term."

Apparently, we hadn't labeled EVERYTHING, yet!

Learned from my Mom. I can cook traditional Puerto Rican dishes like

Arroz blanco con habichuelas y pollo guisado-white rice with beans and chicken

Pollo frito con tostones- fried chicken with fried plantains

Pasteles- Puerto Rican style tamales

Lechón- cooked pig

I don't have the mixer, but I have a Pilón. Growing up in a family with 3 boys and no girls our mother insisted that we be self sufficient.

It hasn't happened yet, not in this timeline.

57. Yes, that may very well be, but the particular future we are
discussing is not yet now. It will not be now for another 30,000 years.

59. cooked a gourmet pizza today from scratch, yum!
spinach, mozzarella, fresh basil, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes on a hand tossed pizza pie.....mmmm tasty!

Iron Chef is a must around here. Especially the late night Japanese re-runs.

I recently did my bedroom walls in a triple tone faux finish and coordinated an area rug with it. There's nothing un-manly about having style!

60. In good weather, grilling and smoking fine stuff.
Otherwise, I bought good cookware, have created a few recipes, and, yes, I watch HGTV and Food.
I put down the toilet seat when I'm done, too.

83. My husband cooks, owns a Kitchen Aid Mixer
(plus a lot of other appliances), watches Food Network, but there's nothing "semi" about him! He's a fabulous cook and I am the envy of my girlfriends whose husbands/SO's don't cook! I do all the barbequing -- does that make me a "semi-woman"?

I watch the Food Network on occasion, but I'd rather come up with my own recipes.
