3. Andy was a troubled comedian |
|
There is a trail of cruelty laced in his humor.

4. I barely know him, but |
|
through the biography, the Carey biopic, a few re-runs of Taxi and the stuff that's online, but what I know I adore. The audacity of the 'The Great Gatsby' thing alone makes him a hero in my eyes. And the wrestling.
So PLEASE Mr. DVD-person -- give us some Kaufman in the UK!!!

I think there's a documentary about his wrestling IIRC which is out in the US on video.

8. Don't worry -- one of my American professors didn't know! |
|
He was dead chuffed that he successfully ordered a video online (Bill Hicks' Ninja Batchelor Party) which soon turned to annoyance when he discovered that he could only play it on the special faculty NTSC player.
Actually it was not uncommon for film fans - predominately horror - to buy US video players so they could import uncut films. DVD (& more liberal censors) is finally changing that.
