Anybody else from the Northeast feel moldy and soggy in their soul?
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 06:01 PM by Armstead
Jeeze I sit here and there's been rain on the roof constantly. Go out and everything is totally yuck damp. Leaves are a soggy mess. The 200 year old dam down the road is working overtime. I spent a jolly few hours cleaning out branches and shit from the stream to keep the water from backing up.

Feels like it's been this way for-fucking-ever. Can't we just have a week or so without this $%%$@@#%! RAIN???!!!

I can deal with a shitty day or two. But a shitty month? I'm starting to take this personally. :wtf:

1. It's freezing here, but no rain since Rita's remnants passed through...
...except for a few drops today. It's getting bad, our well can only run for about ten minutes at a time. I wish we had some of your rain our way.

3. You live anywhere near Tauntun?
That's what's generating all sorts of flood alerts on my browser's window.

Me? No heat here, oh well, I've got plenty of hot sauce with dinner.

12. I used to live in Seattle
For ten years (including a stint in Everett). So I guess I shouldn;t be such a "rain wimp."

But the rain was one of the few things I don't miss about Seattle. But this stunt here has been relentless -- and we're not as topographically adapted to it.

6. Bad time of the year for me
First a wave of allergies hit me, then the migraines. Now I got a back pain is creeping up my spine.

And lets not even talk about seasonal depression.

9. I'm trying to get a whole bunch of new interests this year.
So I'm too busy to remember it's cold and dark.

Not working out so well, but it's still early.
