this is just the initiating thread. once more DUers chime in and commit on a day/pLace, we can choose a bar.

however, from past experience i'd say it wouLd be either, the peopLe's repubLik, bukowski's (though onLy if pitt's going), or cLery's.
we did have one once at the pour house but that was my choosing. i don't Like to organize these things, i just Like to go.
but i was chosen to Lead this mission, and i'LL try my best. ;)

would make a good spot. Not much I can think of in JP anymore. Some of the old bars are gone that I remember, and I can't think of anything near the Monument or on Centre Street that would qualify as a lefty bar anymore. But then, it's been a long time since I was living there.

Of course, if JP Licks is still at the corner of Centre and Boylston, we could meet there--yum, yum. :)
