2. Does this mean you saw the Eric Benet video?
Granted the song is no Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue but there's nothing quite as shameless as someone whose main claim to fame is cheating on Halle Berry using a tragedy such as Katrina to try to do a charity single. Kind of like the Katrina song Michael Jackson is threatening to record. Atleast with We Are The World everybody involved was doing pretty well but lately the charity single is often a thinly veiled career boast.

4. Oh God...thanks Houston, for reinforcing the redneck image.
And, why are we STILL singing 'God Bless America'? Can we please, PLEASE , go back to 'Take Me Out To The Ballgame'? When did the 7th inning stretch become ANOTHER opportunity for some b-list celebrity to get a national audience?

5. don't feel bad.
After all, we're the only city in Olympics history to feature chrome pickup trucks in the opening ceremony.

7. Why am I suddenly reminded of the South Park Ladder To Heaven episode?
They give Alan Jackson so much shit in that episode, it's great!

8. HEY! I think my re-writes of
"I'm dreaming of a White Christ(Fitz)mas"
"The Ants Go Marching" (Fitzgerald's Ants!)
and "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire"(Judiciary Roasting a harried Miers)... were DAMN GOOD! I resemble that remark! I have half a mind to hit alert on this thread!
