1. I think he'd be less funny on radio |
|
since he's so visually funny.

2. I think/hope he sees the value of his domain |
|
As it is right now. The appeal of the larger networks would taint him. He is the master of his realm right now. If he gives in to appeals to power/greed it can only tarnish the things he is trying to do (if he is trying to do something).

4. I'm really torn though. In general, I think it's good that he stays on TV, |
|
where he does an AWESOME job, has a GREAT supporting cast/staff, and is just perfect. If he went to radio, he might be great, but he might not, no guarantees. So I think staying where he is is the smartest move.
On the other hand, I'd really like yet another entertaining, marquee name on the right side of things on the radio, with a potentially huge audience, even sweeter if it's in ADDITION to AAR, with the potential to tap into the huge morning drive Stern audience.
I don't think anything on AAR has remotely the drawing power of Stewart, but I don't know the numbers.
Man if WE had ANOTHER voice, especially a known, highly entertaining one like J.S., on YET ANOTHER station, the wingnuts would really start to sweat, I think. Dinosaurs. Ice Age.
