My son got a TATTOO!!!
He has been in Costa Rica 3 months doing medical mission work (just graduated college) and is going back in two months...Came home Thursday and showed BORN-AGAIN mom his "surprise"...TATTOO from heel up through calf saying "ETERNALIST"...MOM was pissed because of how it will reflect on HER......I am ecstatic that my son has balls.....

Now my teenage daughter just needs to get a tongue piercing....

1. I'm glad you support your kids' creative choices.
my parents didn't bat an eye when I pierced my eyebrow when I was 16. I liked that I had supportive parents and thus the shock value of it could be saved for other choice audiences, like the principal at school as well as the meathead asshole bigots.

2. Oooh! Where can I get one
I heard they were gone.

So Herve left in his will a trust fund to establish free housing for people of small stature. It was used to buy condos which were modified to size requirements of short people. They were provided to them free of charge. They were called Stay Free Minipads.

3. My oldest son has......
an American Fighting Eagle tatooed across his shoulder blades.

I first saw it when we went to the beach and....

I freaked out!!

omg!

I couldn't believe the size of it!!

Gheesh!

"My little baby's beautiful skin is ruined!", I thought!
(Actually I said it out-loud.)

But, not much I can do about it now. He's now a man...

I have a BLUE DOT on my ankle!

I chickened out at the first needle prick. :dilemma:

It was going to be a 'Blue Bird of Happiness'....

6. My mom doesn't disapprove of tattoos per se...
Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 08:25 PM by primate1
She's just picky about design and positioning. As long as it's not too noticable and ugly, she's okay with them. Not sure about my dad's opinion on tattoos.

Not that either of their opinions really matter, I'm still getting the tattoo(s). Just need spare money, haha.

10. Yeah, but still
she's gonna freak. That's also why I said I was still gonna do it. It's not like my mother freaking out about it is going to change my mind. BECAUSE I'm a grown man...and I'm bigger than she is.
