Goodbye, cruel world.
I'm off to confront my Wednesday morning hell, i.e. grocery shopping. Please keep me in your thoughts as I face the criminally negligent parents who allow their kids to push mini-shopping up against my heels in the aisles, as I calculate Swiss francs and percentages of savings in my head, as I navigate the cruel reality that is speaking Italian with a southern accent.

1. Goodbye, my dear Heidi!
And good luck!

I'll be off shortly as well......but to bed, for some overdue sleep!

I saw you said you might be too busy tomorrow for the Nighthawk thread...

One of us can kick it....but it's already huge!

:loveya:

2. Fuck that.
Let it be known that I'm the first to try and talk to you out of this whole shopping idea. ;)

But if you must...stay positive. Act like you'll enjoy yourself - you know, self-fulfilling prophecy.

doing google image searches which Mr. Heidi will photoshop into a birthday card for our brother-in-law.

Here's the one we're going to put brother-in-law's face into:

We're eating dinner with my mother-in-law tonight, so I didn't really _need_ to shop. But I always do the things I loathe right away, just to get 'em over with.

17. Oh My - that is horrible!
I do the same thing - getting past the difficult jobs first. Otherwise I feel the pressure to get them done.

I know I still need to order and stack cords of wood for the winter because I like to be warm for those middle of the night trips to the refrigerator.

My toes wouldn't get cold at night ... I'm so sure that he could keep 'em warm as toast.

I remember the coops to be tiny shops, barely big enough to accomodate even one shopping cart ;-) . But well, I haven't been to Switzerland for a decade now.

Thanks Joani. I went to the doctor this morning about my right ear, where my hearing is somewhat impaired and I seem to have constant tinnitus. He looked in there and said it was blocked up with wax. :)

He told me some stuff to get from the chemist which should unblock it. :)
