Question for anyone who has been watching the World Series:
I caught just a snip last night. A White Sox home run.

When they showed the replay, it seemed as though Fox had added sound effects - a low-pitched swoosh for the swing, a reverberating BOOM when the ball hit the bat, etc.

Is it just me or did Fox really add sound effects to the goddamned replays?

1. Yes. They also make sure some dumb noise accompanies
any change in graphic content onscreen. Very annoying. I am sick of watching MLB on Faux.

Woof

4. What's worse is that animated talking baseball!
I mean come on, I think most people watching the world series know enough about baseball to know what most of the plays are!

6. I nearly died when Scooter explained a fast ball to me last night
Stop it. If you're watching the World series, you know what a fast ball is.

8. CBS has been doing that to college hoops for years
All those squeaky sneakers? All fake.

Faux, however, has raised annoying sports enhancements* to an art form. Remember the glowing puck when they had hockey? :puke:
