I don't mean what the bullies may have called you in third grade, but a nickname your friends gave you that you, nevertheless, didn't like.

In High School, mine was "Pillsbury" because I had a sizable gut and my Mom bleached the hell out of my practice football uniform, so I was gleaming white....

1. My name rhymes with a lot of things

including kissy, prissy, pissy, and missy, so I never really lucked out in the nickname department. :P

3. My brother gave me a name when I was 2 years old.

It stuck. 30 years later this is what my family and long time friends still call me. I used my real name for school and work and legal things, but I introduced myself as "nickname" until I was about 19.

There are 2 famous song that has my nickname in it and I have heard them 10 brazillion times each.

I like when I see people whos' real name is my nickname, and the variations of the way they spell it.

Having a nickname was helpful in a way because I was named after my mom and it gave me a little individuality.
