13. A few years ago, in the cold of winter (though I think it was only

November) the water heater went out for my whole apartment building, and the landlord had to do major repairs on it that took three days.

Three days without hot water, which also meant, without radiator heat.

Thank God I had a gym membership - I would go to the gym in the morning and shower before going to work. And thank God it wasn't super cold winter.

for about a week in winter...was dreadful

14. My sophmore year in high school during football two a days-

our AD wouldn't allow the janitors to turn on the hot water so that's the only type of shower we could take. We had to call the County health inspector to get him to turn on the hot water.
