Is DU slowing down?

I have a cable connection and I find at times things are slowing down a bit.

Anyone else? Perhaps it is my server? :shrug:

2. The whole world is slowing down

the closer we get to the indictments, the slower time goes. It's a bit like the event horizon of a black hole. The moment the indictments are handed out is the point at which time actually stops altogether, so you see, no-one in the Bush administration will ever be indicted.

yes DU is slowing down, because it is under load. That's why some of the features are turned off (like avatars and signatures and advanced search), because otherwise it would be going slower still.
