Why the destroyer part?

4. Absolutely! In our case anyway.
The Developer/Destroyer is a play on the Mastodon song "Crusher Destroyer". This company's databases left little to be desired.

As addictive as this site is, I'm going to be in the 10,000 club before long. I have yet to get a newyawker99 mention, though.
