Do bars in Philly stay open 1 hr. later when clocks change this weekend? |
|
My wife was asking me this, as I'm playing in Philly this Saturday (as the more observant of you might have noticed <wink>). I can't seem to find any info about it online, so I thought I'd ask you lovely, attractive, knowledgeable people.

The clock actually reaches closing time before it's reset, so people generally close down.

If the bar normally closes after the change point, then it can stay open, but if your city/state forbids bars serving anything after 2, then they consider the change AT 2, thus you gotta get the fudge out, regardless of what time it is when you actually leave the bar.
