the "crosstown hatred" seems to be quite one sided. Most Cubs fans I have known/seen don't care one way or another about the Sox. The reverse, however, is most certainly not what I have seen.

I think Indians and Twins fans hate the White Sox more than Cub fans do.

I am a lifelong Sox fan in the NW burbs. I don't hate the cubs but am just ambivalent. The problem comes when my friends and in-laws (90% Cub fans) start bashing the Sox. I never start it but at some point I feel the need to defend my team.

It's not up to the east coast or any other
part of the country to decide what we're
about without consulting us.

There are more than 'dozens' and it's not our job
to prove that to anyone who doubts us.

This isn't for anyone but the south side. We're tired

to now that we've brought a championship home and some people
still don't have the grace to accept that someone else
