Is The Moon in "Suck" Or Something?

It seems like the world is full of personal suckitude: I'm dealing with a kidney infection and a kitchen sink that's backing up enough to flood the kitchen; my neighbor was laid off from her job at NASA; another friend wrecked his newish car (and worst of all, it was his fault) and was hurt badly enough he had to be in the hospital for a week and then he lost his wallet; looking around the Lounge, there's a high incidence of Suck; much higher than usual, it seems.

I'm not usually a believer in heavenly bodies screwing with the lives of humans, but with the Suck happening to so many, I believe we're in that phase of the moon.

people whose wives have been arrested, who are getting no satisfaction from the hokey-pokey, who need positive vibes, or have annoying jobs, etc.

or are you talking about the quality of my jokes?
