Name a song that has a sufficient amount of cowbell. I'm gonna burn a CD |
|
for LynneSin.
I'll start:
Whiteman in Hammersmith Palais on From Here to Eternity
:hi: Lynne!

I suppose someone will have to mention Reaper too (damn SNL), but I love BOC too much to do that.

10. I've only got it on cassette so I haven't heard it in years. |
|
I seem to recall that Come On And Dance, and Merry-Go-Round had the most cowbell, but they were also the worst songs on the album (go figure).

9. Nazareth's "Hair of the Dog" |
|
I think that's the name of the song.
It's being used right now, oddly enough, in some commercial, and it makes total sense.
It's the song that goes
"Now you're messing with a .... a son of a bitch! Now you're messing with a son of bitch."
Plenty cowbell in that one.
And I wish I could remember the commercial (they don't use the words, but the music is there)

|
:-) It's definitely got some excellent cowbell work going on; especially during the fadeout.
I'll second "Everybody's..." and add "Working for the Weekend" by Loverboy.

I was hankering for some siouxsie (feeling 80's nostalgia) so i downloaded a bunch of her songs for shits and giggles and when i played that one there was the fucking cowbell. I couldn't get past that so I never listened again.
