I adopted a kitten will be here on nov 2nd need name
Okay everyone I went out to pets in need in Ringwood Il and adopted a kitten . She's a calico brown and tan cat with an intriguing light tan spot over her left eye. Any ideas for a name? I would like something exotic, shakespearan, and even tolkien or sci-fish. Any ideas?

3. If my next kitten is a female...
...I'm naming her after Gogo from Kill Bill Volume I. I just like the character and the name. Well, I like the name for a cat, anyway.

10. The flowers of the tree from Lothlorien, Elanor.
Sam asked the advice of Frodo Baggins in choosing a name for his daughter. It was Frodo who suggested that she be named after the golden flower elanor found in Lothlorien, thus following the Hobbit custom of naming girls after flowers while selecting a unique name that suited the beautiful, golden-haired child. In later years she came to be called Elanor the Fair. In appearance, some said she was more like an Elf-maid than a Hobbit.

26. You can open up a free account at www.photobucket.com....
and download pictures from your scanner or camera to there. Do this by going into photobucket, and when it asks to upload pictures, choose the browse option, and go into your computer to where you have your pictures located. Be sure to to format them in a jpg format. Once you have them in photobucket, you can copy and past them to here. Photobucket is a great utility to use, and as stated, its free. Good luck!

27. My first calico cat was named "Calico," LOL!
A very pretty cat, long haired, mostly black, with spots of white and orange. And she had neither tail nor voice. But it served her well. She lived close to 20 years... Best of luck with your exceptional cat.:-)

29. Hauntu = Mischievous Spirit in Brunei Malay
Among certain tribes "Hauntu", (pronounced haunt-too), are blamed for all sorts of minor mischief. Everything from "bump" in the night sounds to missing personal items. Hauntu are not fond of loud noises so these spirits are often temporarily frightened off by loud noises. Wandering around ones home beating a couple of pots together is the favored method of chasing off the pesky Hauntu among these tribes. (Cats on the other hand respond better to squirt guns...)

Another name although more masculine, is Pywacket or Py for short. Which of course was the name for the witches cat from Bell Book and Candles. (Not sure of spelling...might be Piwacket instead).
