Good night. May the dear Lord, or who/whatever you believe in send you comforting dreams. The kind that wake you up in the morning with a smile and a feeling of wellbeing. I'm out.

7. I'm so sorry, I feel like a poser.
I was unclear. I'm a 30yr ford worker, so I'm not exactly left swinging in the wind like so many here. Thank you for your kindness, sorry for the unintentional deception.

4. I thought that username included
your birth year. At 68, shouldn't you be retired instead of laid off? I am hoping to semi-retire myself before my 45th birthday. It cannot come soon enough as far as I am concerned.

5. 1937 is the year my grandfather(who I never knew) died.
his gravesite was lost for years til the 50's when he was found burried under the name of Hickman. My user name is to honor him.

8. I'm sorry, I've mislead people.
As a 30yr Ford worker a lay off is an inconvenance that screws with the bills, and is worring because the health of the company dictates my future finances. I did not mean to pose as someone left hanging like so many people here, and in this country, have been. Sorry.

9. still - best wishes being sent your way
Working for Ford for 30 yrs - you have probably been through layoffs before. The recent news about Ford probably has you feeling a little less secure than before. I'm hoping that everything goes well for you and that you don't lose any of the benefits that you may have been depending on.
