Good Friday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Here we are at another Friday and the beginning of another weekend! :woohoo: I hope all you Nighthawks had an awesome time! Any of you have any big plans for the weekend?

Me? I have to work on Saturday, but I'm off on Sunday and haven't made up my mind on what I want to do.

11. Righteous goal
I just work every day cuz I have to (bills and junk). After they're paid off I'll be saving for grad school. During that I may be able to cut down to a job and a half, and then afterwards--when I have a real job, I'll be able to live on just one job.

I won't know what to do with myself.

20. I have to tell ya, I love that smiley
I felt that way one evening on my vacation. I'd had several drinks and my friend was imitating this guy who was doing karaoke (it was a horrible country song and the way he was doing it was intelligible)*. I was laughing so hard I nearly fell off the barstool.

I want to feel that way again...

*I know it's not polite to make fun of people just because they stink but many of us do it from time to time. I did karaoke at that same place and really sucked :puke:. If people made fun of me I don't blame them at all.

21. I've never been brave enough to do Karaoke....
I can carry a tune, but my voice has no vibrato so it sounds flat...know what I mean? I guess that comes with time and singing a lot...but I've been singing in my car for enough years that if it hasn't happened by now it's not going to!

22. I'll never do it again
I thought that because I could sing along with my selected song on the radio/CD that I'd do ok. Well, I discovered doing it solo is completely different. I got up there and bombed miserably--couldn't carry the tune (even though I've heard it a thousand times before), kept losing track of the pace, etc. So humiliating.

I had troubles getting out of bed this morning. After 2 weeks only getting up at 7.20am, it was really tough for me to get up at 6.30am again. But now I am at work for quite some time and I am actually doing my work - isn't that amazing :)

27. Growing up in Missouri...
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 05:58 AM by Clintmax
When it was cold out and snowing, especially at twilight, I would go outside and watch it fall. Everything was quiet and I would try to catch snowflakes on my tongue. Seeing our yard with an undisturbed 9 or 10 inches of snow on it was also good because it was so pretty! Then I got older and had to drive in the stuff. The pretty white stuff would turn into gray slush which would re-freeze overnight and make driving a pain in the ass! Then we'd get a couple of inches of ice on top of that and you'd have an even BIGGER mess!

I only miss it sometimes. MOST of the time I'm glad I don't have to see any more snow!

I would say that if you are in the mood for a party like that then certainly you should go! If, however you are not really part of those departments and feel like you would be a "3rd wheel" or have other plans, then maybe you should gratiously decline. I dunno...what are YOU in the mood for this weekend?

I am NOT in the mood to do anything but, if I don't get myself out

of this blue funk who else will? Lot of pressure in my life right

now. I will probably go. How is this for a costume? I will carry

a glass of chianti and a can of fava (sp?) beans. I will threaten

to eat everyone's liver and make that slurping noise. Who am I?

Got to get up the rest of the decorations tonight. Tomorrow we have an all day Anime viewing convention to go to (always insane there). And then Sunday we got a costume party we are throwing.

Oh and Monday we scare a lot of kids.... but in a cute way.
