I'm playing the the Alliance Tournament. This is a free to play and I'd love to get some other DUers to join the game and join in the new Democratic Underground Clan.

It's a turn-based game where you build a country and of course, from time to time invade other countries. You can form alliances and do all sorts of fun stuff.

If you join - first thing you need to do is setup your country management - Determine what kind of government you'll run, distribution of the military you build and your tax rate. If you don't do this first then if you do it a few turns down the line you'll lose some of your military & citizens.

You'll want to start the begining with building construction offices and research labs (toss a few into the rest of the things you can build) and soon your country will blossom.

5. After you log in go to the main menu and look at the bottom

there will be some links below your status - go to the Country Management link where you can change your government
