so I hear co-workers talking about Harry Potters car stolen
What makes people obsess and talk about the stupidest and most meaningless "news". Another co-worker was obsessing over Britney and Justin. She said she was obsessed with the OJ trial and missing white girls.

I cant understand the obsession with completely meaningless stories and celebraties.
