4. This isn't Mikimotos - it's the Bamboo House |
|
which is a stripmall Sushi-Chinese restaurant. But the Sushi is really good and I have to admit it is the best Shrimp Tempura I've ever had

5. You realize, of course, I am very jealous and sad now. |

But, anyway - enjoy it! There's nothing like Sushi that's actually being eaten IN Japan.
YUM!

15. I had a spicy tuna roll for lunch too |
|
I was tempted to try the shrimp tempura roll, but since I've never had it, and because I only have room in my tummy for one roll, I stuck w/ what I knew I would like.
Maybe someday someone I know will get a shrimp tempura roll, and they'll let me have a bite.

16. We do the 3 roll lunch special - $11.50 |
|
3 rolls and a salad. My friend picks a roll, I pick a roll and then we decide on a mutually acceptable roll (usually the spicy tuna). One roll sometimes doesn't seem like enough but 2 is definately more than I can handle. And I give her the salad since I'm not too keen on their salads

gastric bypass patient. One roll completely fills me up. $3.95. We have a sushi chef here at our college cafeteria. I love that they make it fresh right in front of us.

22. I had some sushi this evening and remembered this thread |
|
The "Rainbow Roll" consists of 6 California Roll, and two each of salmon, white fish and tuna. The California Roll was good, but not great. The salmon was tolerable, the white fish was not that good, and the tuna was atrocious. Ugh. Never waste your time with inferior sushi. But what did I expect in this little town of 35,ooo souls?
