Woo, I survived Wilma!
I posted prior to the storm and some folks wanted me to give an update, so here it is. :)

We just got power back about thirty minutes ago, and it's great to have some semblance of normalcy again. The past few days have been really hard. My family is okay, though, and we just had a little leakage in the house. We're just renting the place until we move north, though, so even that isn't going to trouble us too much. Good to be back!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go take a non-arctic shower. :P

2. friend of mine in marco feels the same way; she bathed the kids...
cleaned the house, shaved her legs & pits & just waited but is glad it is over

4. Hope the "hurricane rage" didn't get too bad for you.
I tell you, it seems for about two weeks after the bad ones, people are on edge. Charley here was a bitch. People not stopping at intersections, grumpy in gas lines, the heat was bad.

Hopefully, since it was a little cooler it wasn't as bad for you after Wilma. I think the heat makes people flare up a lot easier.

Glad you are ok!
