My parrot has taken ill.
Its breastbone is protruding and feels sharp down her front.

On the plus side, there are no other symptoms currently, but I'm damn scared for her.

I'm going to turn on the heat lamp, put in double the food amount, and call the vet tomorrow.

I hope she doesn't die. She's all I got.

8. I hope she's okay.

A quick google search (take it with a grain of salt) says that a protruding breastbone means that the parrot is underweight.

If that's the case, maybe she just doesn't like her food for some reason. I remember that my dog refused to eat for a couple of days for no discernable reason. We switched kibble brands and she's now a piglet.
