he thought Iraq was the biggest foreign policy embarassment in the history of our country - he said he's had an issue with people who say you can't support the troops if you don't support the mission. He also said he was quite concerned with our hands off approach toward the loss of civilian lives.
With regard to choice, he said while he doesn't agree with abortion being used as birth control, it's none of his business and he doesn't see the people who would have you killed for going into an abortion clinic lined up at adoption agencies.
We didn't talk long, but one of the recurring themes was how the religious right had taken over the party.
This make two brothers who have joined the Dems!
