11. I'd like to so exploring out there. My sis keeps going on these day trips.
She's near SF... looks awesome. Though these parts of WI are gorgeous, especially this time of year. I should go on a photo hike one of these days. If I could only find my dongle...

18. I had a crock pot, before Katrina...
Normally, on Mondays I'd have red beans slowly cooking, or on other days I'd have gator Jambalaya, or seafood gumbo. :9

22. Gator, huh??
I tried that when I was in NO earlier this year... it was... different. It was fried and a bit chewy. I guess I could see it more in a Jambalaya.

Sorry about your Katrina losses... were you hit hard?

27. Nothing is being done so far except for the wealthy, and the few not being
screwed by the insurance industry. Last I heard, the mayor had given in to the robber baron developers who want to build casinos everywhere. Halliburton had a no-bid contract before the storm and is getting ready to bull doze most of the city and transform it into McNew OrleansLand... thanks to the new eminent domain ruling by the Supreme Court.

Btw, near where the 17 Street Canal broke, there were damaged Halliburton barges that should have never been there in the first place...
