Masterpiece theater (Kidnapped)
At the top of the hour on some PBS stations . Check your local listings. Looks like it's going to be good one with great scenery of the Scottish highlands..

(Synopsis)

First published in 1886, Kidnapped -- a gripping adventure story full of drama, poignancy, heroism and danger -- surpasses even Treasure Island as a sophisticated literary work.

In an effort to claim his inheritance -- the House of Shaws, a great landed estate -- Davie finds himself trapped on a ship and headed for slavery in the New World. But thanks to the intervention of a swashbuckling highlander, Alan Breck, Davie eludes his captors and joins Breck on a wild flight through the Scottish highlands, pursued by notoriously ruthless English bounty hunters.

1. Well, I've missed the beginning of this, and it looks good.
Do they repeat these episodes later in the week by chance? Do you know?

2. Search your local PBS station (Yahoo or whatever)
and check the schedule. I have two PBS stations; they both repeat, different times though, and you may need to set your VCR, because those repeats are usually done in the wee small hours.
