1. Had a young boy come to the door as Teddy Roosevelt. . .
quite a few years back. I opened the door and there he stood, TR himself. Kid had to be -- at most -- maybe 7 or 8 years old.

"Teddy Roosevelt!"

I couldn't help myself. I was flabbergasted. I'd never seen such a great costume.

"Teddy Roosevelt!"

I shouted it again. Poor kid was visibly shaken. It was early, so I was probably one of the first doors he'd come to and here I was making a big deal about his costume. He probably thought it was going to be a long, long night. Then I grabbed the bucket of candy, gave him two big handfuls, told him his was the best costume I'd seen in years, and he left with a great big smile from ear to ear.

4. When it was timely, I made a President Quayle costume.
I like to dress up as the worst disaster of the year, but BushCo have me jerking back and forth trying to decide what to do.

:) Maybe a loofah with a picture of a falafel. :)

I suppose he's not really a political figure, either. More like a gossip columnist for freepers.
