1. Is there a way you can block them? |
|
With some e-mail providers you can block e-mails from a sender if you want.

3. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about this. |
|
Some e-mail programs make the "From" field editable, which means that the sender can put whatever the hell he or she wants in there. If you want to see there origin, go to the "BLAH BLAH BLAH" or Long History. You'll have to dig, but it does store the IP it originated from and usually the username as well.
Best thing to do with these things is delete them, though.

5. I get emails with "Sender Unknown" as a name. |
|
I immediately put them in the "Report as Spam" folder (I have Comcast) and then delete.

This is the only circumstance that Microsoft Office will not let me report as spam. I have tried and tried.
I must get at least 3 of these a day recently, before two weeks ago, I never got any.
I just don't want a virus.
I do delete it and tried to move it from delete files to junk file but it will not go into junk.
Thanks for everyone's input.

7. Call Comcast and see if they can filter "no sender" emails |
