Dead Alive is the all time funniest horror movie ever made. |
|
Peter Jackson is a very sick many but that movies slays. Just got done watching it at our Halloween party and it killed everyone. Evil Dead even with all its sequels does not have as many laughs.
It is the goriest, grossest, funniest, weirdest, most psychotic movie out there. What were they thinking giving him all that money to make LOTR?

1. And "House Of The Dead" HAS GOT to be... |
|
ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES OF ANY KIND EVER MADE!
I saw this PIECE OF CRAP the other day, and it was just piss poor. When they aren't ripping of the cinematography style from Matrix (ie. slomo bullets flying) they're using EVER horror movie chiche. I knew when the blonde bimbo was the first to go, it was only gonna get WORSE! And showing shots from the video game!? What the HELL!
AVOID "HOUSE OF THE DEAD"! IS BLOOOOOOOOWS!!!!!!!!
It's GUARANTEED to be now in my TOP 5 WORST movies list, but "GHOSTS IN THE MACHINE" is STILL my #1 on that list! What a waste of film that turd was! Rip off of "Lawn Mower Man".

3. "Bad Taste" is genius too |
|
and "Meet the Feebles" (his 'muppet' movie) is funny as fuck.
There's also an Australian low-budget flick in a similar vein called "Body Melt" (tagline: The first phase is hallucinogenic... the second phase is glandular... and the third phase is... BODY MELT)
Finally, I always feel the need to recommend Terror Firmer - it's Lloyd Kaufman's finest work & a perfect introduction to the world of Troma. Indeed, Peter Jackson has cited the great The Toxic Avenger as an influence on his splatstick & still remains a firm Troma fan.
(and it's not "Dead Alive" it's "Braindead"!!)
