3. I went to see The Exorcist when it was re-released a few
years ago. Most folks in the audience were around my age, and had been around for the original release. Unfortunately, there were to mindless mall queens sitting behind me and they laughed through the whole thing. I wanted to put a curse on them!

4. the first time I saw the Exorcist
I laughed due to being under the influence of an illegal substance that will remain nameless at this time...the next time I saw it, like 20 years later ...it scared the bejesus outta me. I have not seen Rosemary's Baby in a LOOOONG time...I need to see if I can watch it again...

2. "Single White Female"
Great movie, great story, but totally messed with my head. I literally had bad dreams after I saw it, and so couldn't see it again! :scared:

Also, "Hand That Rocks the Cradle", for basically the same reasons.

I guess the scary movies that scare me the most are the ones that aren't filled with blood are gore, but are more psychological in their horror!

7. "Audition" (1999)
A Japanese film; it's probably the most disturbing film I've seen in the last 10 years, and it haunted me for a long, long time...

IMO, anyway; it starts out slow, but by the end I was an emotional wreck..

69. I couldn't watch the end of that movie.
In fact, I turned my head thinking that scene (you know the one) would be over soon.

It wasn't, and it turned out I couldn't even LISTEN to that movie without almost wanting to vomit. I had to go wait outside until my friend was finished watching it.

I have a thing about sharp edges. Might've started with a movie I saw when I was maybe 12 — might've been "Dementia 13," I dunno — and some guy got stabbed in the mouth.

Ew. Ew, ew, ew. :scared:

68. "Don't Look Now" (Julie Christie, Donald Sutherland)
Based on a Daphne DuMaurier story. Stomach-churning suspense with some pretty incredible sex, but the ending is just too mind-shatteringly f*&*ed up. I've seen a lot of horror movies, but this is the only one I can't watch again.

The original movie might have a middle-aged person in a prime role, and they stick a 20-something in that role and it just stinks!
