55 Year Old Woman Gives Birth To 13th Child
:popcorn:

<snip>

A 55-YEAR-old teacher from Berlin has given birth to her 13th child, and mother and daughter are just fine, she told the German mass circulation Bild.

"I was surprised myself as the last baby wasn't planned," the paper quoted her as saying.
"I was told about it when I was 11 weeks pregnant," Annegret Raunigk told the paper which published a picture of her and little Leila on its frontpage.

Raunigk, who teaches English and Russian, had her first baby at the age of 19.

"At first, I only wanted one child," she told Bild.

"Not all were planned. But then things happen. I'm not a planner but rather spontaneous. And children keep me young."

The divorced mother's other children are aged 13 to 34, according to Bild. Raunigk also has five grandchildren, aged eight months to 16 years.
