Triumphal dino discovery
Tenacity, teamwork unearth museum's 1st triceratops skull

By Diedtra Henderson, Denver Post Science Writer

Thanks to a curator's bold challenge, a sharp-eyed volunteer and a generous landowner, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science has its first skull from a Triceratops as old as the Rocky Mountains.

The bulldozer that uncovered the mighty, horned fossil ended up shearing off half its face and burying it elsewhere on the construction site. Still, the massive creature probably would have remained sealed in its 68 million- year-old tomb had it not been for the dozer's handiwork.

3. There's one for sale in Estes Park, CO
They should have just driven up there and bought it. I don't know if it's real or not, but it's a life-size Triceratops skull, and it looks darn real to me. It would probably fool 99 out of 100 museum-goers, so why not.

(The price, Dinoboy, was something like $12,000. Let me know if you'd like to know where this store is...)
