What tricks are justified for crappy treats?

Some Halloween treats just plain suck, a waste of valuable trick or treat time. Somewhere, I have a list of lousy treats and the appropriate tricks in response. Popcorn balls, homemade stuff your parents won't let you eat, off-brand crap no one has ever heard off, Necco wafers or gummy-anything, fruit (?!?!) or attempts to make the holiday "about Jesus" are among the offending acts. What are some tricks?

1. I love Smarties and Necco Wafers

and was THRILLED when I got them at Halloween.

My pet peeve crappy treats were:

* Any hard candy (except for Jolly Rancher)
* Candy corn
* Apple with no money in it (people used to give out apples with a dime or quarter stuck inside in my old hood)

2. I love American Smarties!

I love Canadian ones too, but I assume you are talking about the American ones.

I loved getting those in my treat bag, and I'd trade other stuff with my sisters to get their Smarties. I also loved Milk Duds, Sugar Babies, and Sugar Daddies - three things I can no longer eat.

7. Order subscriptions to The Advocate and other pro-gay publications.

Then pinch them from the mailbox when they come and send them to his church with the mailing label attached.

If that's too much trouble or not PC, then give his pet a bath in Nair.
