On phone-hold hell trying to reschedule airline flight |
|
Elevator music would be preferable to the continuous loop they are playing. And then they taunt you periodically with brief pauses. You think you are getting an agent, but it's really a recording.
So far, I've hung a load of laundry to dry and started a pot of 15-bean soup. I think I'll go clean the bathroom next.
So, what's the longest that you've ever waited on hold?

2. 1 1/2 hours with RCN, when I had them as my phone service. |
|
RCN has the customer service from hell. People who really don't give a fuck about you or your concerns.
I had a question with my bill...while I still had RCN as my phone service...and I was kept on hold for 90 minutes.
Needless to say, I no longer have RCN as my phone service. I learn from my mistakes.

It took awhile, but I was quite productive. I have a headset with my portable, so laundry and dinner are done. :D
It was for ATA, which flies nonstop to Cancun. Can you imagine how crazy it is for them.
The first agent was rather harried at first, but then when I expressed concern for her because of all the irate people and craziness she had to deal with, her tone immediately changed.
The second one was nicer from the start but seem so appreciative when I thanked her and told her I hoped she didn't have to deal with too many mean people later.
I'm just happy to get new flights at NO cost to me. :woohoo:
