8. It's you.
AND it's how she says it. Yowsa!

A related question - am I a bad mother if my six-year-old daughter knows most of the words to that song?

10. I'd say 'yes' if I didn't have to hear it dozens of times a day
And on nights when I go clubbing? 2328571984374298537 repetitions of the Bananas song... aagh!

11. I'm sick of that...
The Clear Channel radio stations in Los Angeles have overplayed the hometown girl (she's from Orange County) to death.

Give me Melissa Etheridge any day! :)

12. She's clearly not the greatest english teacher though...
Otherwise you'd be able to spell banana.

13. I must live in a vacuum because I have no freakin' idea what song
you all are talking about.

I will say that I am pretty sure the way Gwen Stefani eats a banana would be pretty damned sexy, also.

:-) Not that Gwen Stefani doesn't look pretty good, but I've really lost a lot of respect for her as an artist (not that I had an incredible amount to begin with, but still...) since she went from doing cool, melancholy songs like "Don't Speak" and "Simple Kind of Life" to this pop trash she's having such success with these days.

17. She could puke, in an alley, behind a dumpster, and it'd be sexy.
But it'd be even more sexy if she was topless. Just saying...

I find her to be a one trick pony just like Madonna.

Boring!!!!

and could her stupid remake of "If I Were a Rich Man" be any more obtuse?

20. It's you. I wish she would go away as quickly as possible.
We get it, Gwen. You're wacky and different. Oh, look! She changed her hair again! Oh, a new style of dress! Oh, listen! She's completely turned an excerpt from "The Rite Of Spring" into a dance-pop tune!

Is she the one whose new single sounds like a combination of "Under Pressure" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody Who Loves Me"?
