Funny Halloween vs. Jail Halloween

Okay two true Halloween stories.

The first happened about 10 years ago. We (the guys)were getting ready to go out and hit the bars that night. So I am upstairs in the bathroom and a friend is downstairs "Getting ready" :beer::smoke: :etc: and I hear

"Where is the candy!?!?!"

They (roommate is home now) "WHERE IS THE CANDY!?!??!"

Me: (unable to move at that point)"Who me?"

"YEAH YOU!!! Where is the candy?"
"We are out" I don't think any more about it. I had bought a bunch of candy and had already handed it out (this was about 7:30 and it had gotten dark already I figured that was it so I dumped the rest of the candy in the bags of the last two trick or treaters and turned off the porchlight to our condo)

I finish and take a shower and get dressed (jeans and a t-shirt but a GOOD t-shirt ;-) ) and I go downstairs. My buddy is completely frazzled at his wits end.

"What's the matter bud?" as I sit down to put on my "going out" boots.

"Dude...it was crazy. They were everywhere"

I look around "Who?" My roommate at this point rolls his eyes at me and goes upstairs to shower.

"Them. The kids"

"What kids?"

"IT's Halloween you know"

"Yeah no shit I gave out all the candy and turned off the porchlight"

He looks at me and gets up to get a beer.

My room mate informs me later that our dear friend was running around like mad trying to find SOMETHING to give the kids. He was handing out sugar packets, tea packets, loose coupons, ketchup, mustard, matches, pennies, golf tees any thing he could find aside from smokes.

LOL

The other story is about the time I tried to steal a cooler BACK from the cops and spent the night in jail.
