Poll question: Which kid song is the most annoying? |
|
(and, no, I'm not kidding about those last few.)
I've had one of these in my head since Saturday...

1. Where's "This is the song that doesn't end" |
|
that is by far the most annoying, followed by, "I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves"

2. I hate "It's a Small World". Does that count? |
|
I cannot go on the ride at Disney World anymore simply becuase hearing that song for 1/2 an hour makes me want to do bad things.

It is really kind of neat.

6. Yeah, she does that too |
|
(my BF's daughter, the "she" in the poll).
It is cute.
Especially when she sang "and on that farm, she had some Stacies! E I E I O."
Problem was, she sang it that way to her mother.
(And I would be Stacie.)

7. The "you are a pirate" song from Lazy Town |
|
Although all the songs on Lazy Town are really annoying, that one's definitely the worst.

8. I have yet to see "Lazy Town." |
|
I recorded a bunch of kids shows, but not that one... I deleted "Franklin" and "Little Bear" from my Tivo after discovering just how tedious they were.

10. Lazy Town is the most annoying thing ever |
|
Have you seen the Backyardigans yet? I love that show, they sing all the time but the songs aren't annoying, they're really well done.

11. Haven't seen that one, either. |
|
My BF doesn't have a TV, and it's used sparingly at my place. It's usually Spongebob, and, rarely, Dora -- both tolerable.

but lately he's thrown the little exploradora over in favor of the Powerpuff Girls. Yes, all three of 'em. That's my son for you. :eyes:

19. That makes me think of a Halloween song from my childhood |
|
I don't know whether it survived past the eighties or not...
"Black cat, black cat looking for a witch All around, the night as dark as pitch You can see because your eyes are green Black cat, black cat; mrrrrow mrrrow, mrrrow mrrrow Tonight is Halloween!"
Of course, the best part as a child was making the "mrrrow"s as loud and obnoxious as possible!

15. That's coming Wednesday, thank god. |

It is amazing, though, how 10 minutes exposure to a three-year-old can erase the previous week of adult conversation (and music).
