Well I'll be dipped, Barnes & Noble doesn't sayeth on their return policy!

They'll spell out everything on returns and exchanges on their receipts and on a plaque at the purchase counter, with one ommission: MAGAZINES.

Apparently, their return policy is within 24 hours for magzines.

I'd bought the mag 2 weeks ago and never took it out of its shrinkwrap. Found out today what it was.

I asked (nicely!) if they'd update their receipts and plaque to tell us their return policy on mags. She talked with the manager and then said that they'd refund the mag this time. (okay, I never got an answer to my question, but I was overjoyed nonetheless! It's a Linux magazine with CDs, and a competitor had got in the DVD version yesterday... Why I never opened the CD version is beyond me, but I'm glad I didn't. The DVD version has so many more goodies... :-) )
