Cable stations like Sci-Fi and Game Show Network used to air all old sci-fi or old game shows. But they still want you to watch.

Today the bulk of their programming is new stuff. New stuff which, for the most part, is lame or "not polished which is why it gets cancelled so quickly" (GSN's "Lingo" was their only new game show that was coherent, and Sci-Fi hasn't had much of anything new that's worthwhile...)

I, of course, don't watch anymore. No point. No soul.

It's ALL been downhill from there, I'm afraid.
